HV Battery Validation Corporate Division:RD Division located in ShenyangChina Employment - full time Tasks Responsible for HV battery validation on cell module an d pack level according to legal an d internal requirements for buy an d make projects in close cooperation with suppliers internal partners an d BMW AG. Key Responsibilities Create an d manage a project specific validation plan based on generic definitions. Take into acＣount the need for prototype parts testing ressources an d budget Create an d manage test specifications based on the technical specification an d market specific legal requirements Plan prototype parts demands an d usage follow up of the procurement process in close cooperation with the supplier the purchasing departmets the project management an d testing departments Align test activities an d methods with internal test field external test centers an d suppliers. Set up an d monitor qualification measures for these partners if necessary Steer the validation according to the plan in collaboration with internal test field external test centers an d suppliers Review test results internal test field external test centers an d suppliers. Participate in post-test analysis. Conclude on actions upon deviations of test results from expected behaviour Give release recommendations for HV battery pack during the prototype phase as well as for the product release in accordance to the validation plan Take technical lead in the component homologation process including review of legal requirements test procedure an d equipment definition an d test conduction at authorized test centers Supporting the quality department in the plant in optimization of the production an d analysis procedures related to HV battery system Support for root cause analysis of HV battery related quality issues at prototype production an d customer cars Further develop working processes in the area of responsibility. Document agreed process changes Take over additional tasks based on qualification capacity an d current needs Qualifications Bachelor Master Ｏr PhD degree in electrical engineering electrical power engineering mechanical engineering software engineering Ｏr related majors Understanding of architectures an d components in hybrid an d electric vehicles HV battery management systems an d functions Understanding of HV battery electric an d thermal behaviour at cell an d pack level Test data management an d analysis tools knowledge in measurement an d CAN communication tools （INCA CANalyzer） Driving skills an d working with high voltage systems （e.g. BMW B1 driving licence an d high voltage qualification Flash 3） Good knowledge in Microsoft office strong project management an d planning skills self-responsible an d reliable working attitude even under pressure analytic skills an d structured working methods Languages skills: Chinese an d English business fluent.
